United Way of Walton County is one of 1200 separate, self-governing local United Way organizations in the U.S. All of our funding decisions are made locally and 90% of the funds raised go directly to our local agencies.
Less than 9% is used to operate our local organization, making us one of the most efficient charities in the nation. One percent is paid to our national professional association, United Way of America. We are not a chapter of any state or national charity and none of our funds are re-distributed to agencies for use outside Walton County. |
